Brave and Huapango Music Thrill the Independence Night

San Luis de la Paz, Gto. Friday, September 16, 2011.  With brave and huapango music, the night of independence thrilled at the Matamoros Esplanade.  Within the patriotic celebrations, from 7:30 p.m., the baritone Carlos Sanchez, who resides in Queretaro and also performed in the Cultural Theater of the fair, sang country melodies that made us feel very Mexican, like “She”, “Divine women” and “Appealing and Loved Mexico”.   While the legendary Guillermo Velazquez y Los Leones de  la Sierra de  Xichu made all of us dance to their huapango arribeno.  From children to senior citizens seized the floor of the Esplanade and the podium, to deliciously dance to the penetrating poetry and music of the xichu.
