For the 1980s decade, we have pictures and the notion of six queens: Martha (1980), Gladys (1981), Patricia (1982), Socorro (1984), Cristina (1988) and Virginia (1989). This was perhaps the best period of our regional fair. The agricultural bonanza allowed to bring to the cock fight arena international renowned artists such as Lucero, Pandora, Yuri, La India Maria, and Laureano Brizuela, among others, when they were at the height of their career. The fair was located at the Internado Field and the cock fight arena at the Municipal Auditorium.
