In the early 1990s, our fair queens were Eideen (1991), Sagrario (1992), Marcia (1993), Cynthia (1994), Viviana (1996), Flor (1997), Estefania (1998), and Lorena (1999). It was in this period that a space was conditioned for the fair itself, at the corner of Velasco Ibarra and Mexico 68. This includes an area for rides, a building for the craft exhibition, an arena for the rooster fights, and a People’s Theater, which was small for the size of our population.
