San Luis de la Paz, Gto. Sunday, March 3, 2013. On the occasion of Family Day, the Baron independent theater group presented the play “My Family” at the Matamoros Esplanade. For nearly an hour, the troop of actors from Queretaro told the story of a family, which like all has its problems and joys. It had a dramatic finish, giving a message that the most important thing in life is family. The event was organized by the Municipal DIF System and the Ludovicense Cultural Center.
The play tells the story of Fernanda, a playful girl, and her unique family. Her dad has fondness for drinking, her brother Juanito does not like to work at his tender 40 years, and her mother is an excellent dancer who comes from a family of circus performers. Between jokes, juggling, dance and fights the family members live. The end occurs when the mother leaves the house, tired of the bohemian life of her husband.
