San Luis de la Paz, Gto. Monday, August 29, 2011. The 2011 San Luis Regional Fair has finished as well as the nights and days of fun for the inhabitants of San Luis de la Paz and the region. Thank you very much for living it with us at Sanluisdelapaz.com. This was done with love for the thousands of our compatriots and friends who live somewhere in Mexico, United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania, who honor us with their visit on a daily basis. Although the fair was held from August 12 to 28, for our team the coverage started since July 9, when the candidates for the Fair Queen of this year were announced. Besides from the creators of Sanluisdelapaz.com, volunteers were involved, who selflessly sacrificed their time, energy and nights of sleep. We extend our appreciation and gratitude to them.
From the beginning, our goal was to offer the broadest coverage possible and we consider that we have achieved it. Gladly, we shared with you the process of the election and crowning of the San Luis Queen and the Most Beautiful Flower, the inauguration of the fair and the Cultural Theater, concerts, dances, exhibitions, cultural events, and finally the closing. As always, we did not leave behind our religious festivities and beautiful traditions as the feast of La Virgencita, San Luisito, the San Luis Rey Parish and the carrying of the chimal. This was an international effort; as many of you know, the information on our webpage is collected in San Luis de la Paz, but it is designed and maintained in the United States. From our beautiful land to the entire planet: Thank you very much!
