San Luis de la Paz, Gto. Thursday, August 25, 2011. At the Cultural Theater of the 2011 San Luis Regional Fair, the Dzahuindanda Dance Workshop created a feast of color and flavor at the Matamoros Esplanade tonight, when it presented the lavish Oaxaca Guelaguetza. For approximately two hours, it entertained the almost 2,000 persons who attended, with various dances and costumes from eight regions of the state of Oaxaca. During the event, the dancers gave part of their accessories, whether it was the pineapple, baskets, and even bread. People showed effusive and at the conclusion of the program offered hoorays and applause, both to its members and to the band that accompanied them. The Director of the Ludovicense Cultural Center, Nancy Amador Villegas, gave them a well-deserved recognition at the time to say good-bye.
